  3. This is the first "beta" release of an SDK to use
  4. the infrared (IrDA) protocol stack.  It provides
  5. a simple interface to the TinyTP and IAS layers.
  6.  
  7. It also documents the IrCOMM pseudo serial port
  8. that is included with IrDA 2.0.
  9.  
  10. You can use this with Mac OS 8.6, or with 8.5 if the
  11. IrDA 2.0 extensions are installed.
  12.  
  13. Expect the interface to change, this is a beta release!
